Deletion you can perform yourself, immediately
The following actions are available inside the app and take effect immediately:
- Delete a single photograph — from within the gallery. The file is removed from storage and the record from the database.
- Delete an entire gallery — removes all its images, the stored files, and the posts generated from it.
- Delete a post — from the posts page. Note: a post already published to Instagram remains on Instagram and must be deleted there separately.
- Disconnect your Instagram account — in settings. Immediately deletes the access token and the stored connection details.
- Revoke the Lightroom plugin key — in settings, by generating a new key. The previous key stops working at that moment.
- Delete all media — in settings, under "Cleanup". Removes all your galleries, posts, and files at once. A confirmation step is required.
Deleting your entire account
To delete your account completely, send a request from the email address registered to the account to info@framegrid.art, with the subject "Account deletion".
We will verify that the request came from the account holder and complete the deletion within 14 business days. We will send you written confirmation once it is done.
We are working on adding a self-service account deletion button directly in the settings page. Until it is available, email is the route, and it is handled with the same seriousness.
What gets deleted with your account
Account deletion is complete and irreversible. The following are erased:
- Your login account and email address.
- Your profile details and settings.
- All galleries, all photographs, and all media files in storage.
- All posts and stories you created in the service, including their schedules.
- Your Instagram connection and access token.
- Stored historical performance data.
- Data in the financial planning section.
- Notification subscriptions and stored notifications.
Deletion cannot be undone. Make sure you hold your own copy of anything you care about before requesting it.
Removing FrameGrid from your Facebook account
You can also revoke FrameGrid’s access directly on Meta’s side, without going through us:
On Facebook: Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → select FrameGrid → Remove.
Once you do, the token we hold stops working and we can no longer publish or read data from your account. We delete the stored connection details on our side as a result of the removal.
Note: this removal disconnects the Instagram connection, but does not delete your FrameGrid account or the photographs you uploaded. To delete those, follow the sections above.
What is not deleted, and why
Posts already published to Instagram belong to your Instagram account, not to us. Deleting data here does not remove them from Instagram — you must delete them in the Instagram app.
We may retain a narrow set of records we are legally required to keep — for example accounting records of payments, if any were made — for the period prescribed by law. Such records are not used for any other purpose.
Technical backup copies held by our infrastructure providers may contain the data for a short additional period until they age out of the normal backup rotation.
